ART COURSES
painting – drawing – contemplate – enjoy
What could be more exciting than discovering your own creativity! In my courses, I introduce you to various painting techniques and encourage you to look at your work – and the object to be depicted – closely, out of focus, fleetingly, concentrated, calmly or with impatience. Because I want the focus of the demands on your work of art to shift from “good success” to “amazing result”.

“the paintor is the eye of the world”
Otto Dix
Hello,
my name is Caroline and I would like to invite you to my art courses. I am convinced that everyone can be an artist. All you have to do is observe, look, contemplate, see, and, after all, learn to use simple techniques to release your inner artist.
I am a museum art teacher. I studied at the University of Arts in Berlin and earned my M.A. in Egyptology in Munich. My motto is: You can’t be versatile enough to allow creative processes.
Be surprised by your own creativity!
I am looking forward seeing you

different techniques
You will learn various painting and drawing techniques, and discover your own creativity
The different techniques will help to give the creative process a framework and direction. Copying old masters, freehand drawing, experimental painting and painting natural landscapes give us a wonderful opportunity to get to know different materials..
Pouring Art

Pouring art is a painting technique in which acrylic paints are poured and spread onto the canvas.
By moving the canvas,up to spinning it on a turntable, by blowing the paint using a straw or an electric hair dryer, by drawing lines with a knife or adding more paint, the image changes in a continuous process.
Depending on how the picture develops, emerging shapes can be visually enhanced to leave it o a chance to take shape.
As with all works of art, it is important to know when you are finished. The consistency of the paint, which develops from very thick and liquid to thin and less liquid, helps here. The picture is finished when the color can no longer spread on its own.

Copying Old Masters

Studying and tracing the details of old master painters is an almost meditative activity. By tracing the lines of well-known works, you go on a journey through time and can understand a little about the circumstances under which the painter created his work at the time. Copying is not as hard as it seems and has the side effect of creating a decorative picture for your house and getting into the routine of drawing and painting.

Painting like Bob Ross

Bob Ross became famous in the 1970s for his TV series “The Joy of Painting”, in which he passionately taught a simple landscape painting technique. Many viewers felt motivated to start painting themselves.
His characteristic casual and warm nature made him famous in a very short time. Statements like “We don’t make mistakes, just happy little accidents” or “I think there’s an artist hidden at the bottom of every single one of us” are unforgettable.
Today his style has become cult and his pictures are sold at top prices.

exhibition
At the end of the course, we exhibit the works created in a small setting to give the creative process a suitable conclusion. Locals and newcomers can be inspired by our work and new contacts can be made.
In my opinion, it is important to show the finished work and, if necessary, explain it after the so-called creative phases (problem statement, collecting ideas, creative break, Eureka moment, elaboration). In this way, you have symbolically completed a degree and can turn to new creative processes.
